I quickly left bountiful baskets this week and headed out of town for the afternoon/evening so I didn’t get a picture of my wonderful basket this week. So don’t mind the old picture of a basket that might not have exactly what we got this week.
This week we got butter lettuce, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, kiwi, oranges, apples, blackberries, pineapple, broccoli, bell peppers, and pears. If you got the Mexican pack add on you got tomatillos, cilantro, avocado, grey squash, onions, lime, sweet peppers, jalapenos, and garlic.
If you family doesn’t eat apples as fast as you get them like mine sometimes does try making Baked Apple Crisps with them. As soon as I made them the disappeared quickly. For a great dinner give Pan Fried Pork Chops with Glazed Apples.
We will defiantly be making Enchiladas Verdes with our tomatillos from our Mexican pack. It is one of our favorite things to make with the Mexican pack. Chipotle Shredded Pork Enchiladas is also a great recipe to use your Mexican pack for.
