9 06 2012

I know it has been a while since I posted. Some big changes are happening right now with my family and so things have been a bit crazy to say the least. While my cooking and bountiful baskets schedule have drastically changed I will try to keep some new stuff coming your way. Please be patient while I transition through this crazy time.

This weeks basket had apricots, bananas, celery, cucumber, apples, kale, lettuce, mangos, melon, pineapple, plums, acorn squash, and tomatoes.

Olive Garden Copycat Zuppa Toscana Soup

Baked Parmesan Tomatoes

Pineapple, Banana, Coconut, and White Chocolate Chip Bread

Tropical Fruit Sorbet (Also uses pineapple and mango)

Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber:

I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys all their summer fruits and veggies from bountiful baskets. Let me know what you plan to make with your basket and I will see you all next week.

Do different regions get different things in their baskets?

Sites typically get the same thing but it does vary by region because BB buys produce at the best price that they can get. Within regions there can also be some variations based on substitutions for the week. All in all you get a great value for your money!
